Happy Birthday Issue #1: Unveiling the JomSocial Partner Program
It has been a year since we launched JomSocial!
Since then we have grown by leaps and bounds, thanks to everyone who has been supporting us :-)
Some of our supporters have gone beyond purchasing our products by developing third party applications, templates and plug-ins for JomSocial. Some even go the extra mile by offering their services to help others enjoy the goodness of JomSocial on their sites, too. For this we'd like to thank you!
Our special thanks also goes to the many reviewers who have spent their valuable time checking out JomSocial, for giving us their frank opinions, rankings and ratings on their sites. Without all of you, our growth wouldn't be as phenomenal as it is today.
With this in mind, we'd like to make our partnership official in order to build it into something more profound. We came up with the JomSocial Partner Program - an initiative full of benefits to help our partners grow as we grow. We are serious in making you, our partners, happy -- and this Partner Program is proof that we walk the talk. Details of the benefit for our partners are available here
To all our current and future partners out there here's what you may need to do next:
Visit the Partner Program page and register yourself there. Once you're there all you have to do is simply:
1. Choose the Partner Program that suits you best:
* Developer Partner -- partners who write add-ons for JomSocial (e.g plugins, templates) and have a website of 200 members)
* Solutions Provider -- partners who offer solutions around JomSocial (eg installation, customization, hosting), have a website for your business, and have successfully deployed JomSocial for your customers
* Affiliates -- partners who re-sell JomSocial at their website
* Open Source -- partners with open source projects with more than 200 members and ideally operate on a non-profit basis
2. Click on the "Register Now" tab on the relevant page
3. Fill up the form (if any)
4. Click 'Submit'
Once approved you will be listed on a dedicated Partners Directory (for Developer Partner and Solutions Provider Partner). The directory will make it easier for customers to find you and the services that you offer - another source of income for you :)
