Rome was not built in a day

And so is JomSocial.

I can understand the excitement JomSocial has generated over the last 2 months. Joomla site admin finally has an easy to use and rather simple to setup social networking components to add to their site, all in a single comprehensive package. Literally thousands of sites have used JomSocial and are building a thriving community online, (not counting tens of thousands more of you guys out there using unlicensed copy!)

I would like to personally thank all of you (especially paid members! : ) for making JomSocial what it is today. I have tremendous gratitute for all of you who are willing to give us a chance. We are still new and we are overwhelmed with the trust you guys have given us.

We also received huge amounts of feature requests and suggestions. I may not be able to personally e-mail a reply to every one of them, but I do read them. Those feedback help us shape the direction of JomSocial to fulfil your needs.

I just like to let eveyone know that we are doing everything we can within our limited resources. Our team is tiredlessly juggle between the demanding work of coding, answering e-mail queries, replying the forum, writing documentation, testing JomSocial templates to make it work on literally thousands of Joomla templates out there, writing this blog entry and more and more coding.

Having said that, you can expect us to work even harder and introduce more innovative features in the future.
