2 New JomSocial Apps Now Available

Two new commercial JomSocial apps have been released today. Both should be in our Add-Ons directory by the end of the day (or you can go directly to the developers' websites for more information.

1.) FaboAlbum4JS - Facebook Photos on JomSocial profiles:

Now you can let your users show their Facebook Photos on their JomSocial Wall, with FaboAlbum4JS.

FaboAlbum4JS is a JomSocial/Joomla! plugin that allows your users to select which Facebook photo albums they want to showcase on their JomSocial profile page.

Once linked, the users' albums and tagged photos will be automatically retrieved. It's fast & easy!

These photos can be scrolled and the viewers can click on a picture to view it in a higher resolution, all still within your web site. This is accomplished using Ajax.

2.) JomSocial Network Suggest (Friend Suggest)

This module intelligently suggests matched friends that the logged-in user can network with. This feature works just like the networking suggestions feature at linkedin.com & facebook.com.

The module can be configured to match various fields in the user profile like location, interests, occupation etc to suggest matching users to the logged-in user.

A Must have for Social Networking websites.
