Welcome the Technical Support section. Help us in assisting you by providing us with a concise and descriptive elaboration of your issues. Be specific and if possible, provide us with a step-by-step instruction in replicating your problem.
Oh... FFMPEG version is 0.6.5?? That's very very ancient version. Current version is 2.8.1 :
www.ffmpeg.org/download.html#releases
This is cause of your issue - too old version of FFMPEG library.
This is very common issue:
So the only option you have here is to ask your hosting provider to update it.
Old version just can't manage to convert videos. And we can't do anything about it... it's up to hosting providers and FFMPEG they use.
As for your second issue - please, open new thread for it. I'll manage it there...
- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.
- Use the "Thank You" feature on any post that helped you
Dear Michal
Thanks for these links, I wish I would receive them earlier especially the 3rd one which helped me a lot, finally library upgraded to 2.8 and every thing is working really good.
one more question: when deciding to use remote storage of my bucket at S3, I got a 500 internal server error while I have increased the timeout. I had to change the storage to local server again.
I could upload a photo while in remote storage mode, but the picture again was save at local.
How can I fix it. Your reply is really appreciated
Regards
Nabi

Merging few different issues in one thread make us hard to track them.
