Dear Supporter
In my old host I was not allowed to use ffmpeg command so I have migrated my site to Amazon EC2. After confining this command, still my videos are in pending status. I have a cron job for Jomsocial, should I define a new one for video?
Any comment regarding this issue at Amazon would be appreciated.

Hi, Hassan.
Video couldn’t be converted:

1. Are you sure you provided correct FFMPEG path in JomSocial video configuration?
2. Make sure that your hosting is using one of the latest versions of FFMPEG
3. I saw that you provided ZenCoder account credentials but connection is disabled. You want to use ZenCoder for videos processing?
Hi Michal
thanks for the reply:
1) I wrote exactly the same as your movie by Eric
2) my hosting is Amazon (EC2) which I am almost sure they it is up to date
3) I do not want to use encoder, that is why I disabled it because it is more expensive than Amazon

Hi, Hassan.
1. No, this path is valid only for tutorial video. It may be different on your server. Please, contact with your hosting provider and ask them for correct path to FFMPEG library.
2. You can't be sure until you ask them - please, do that :) In many cases hosting providers doesn't bother to upgrade FFMPEG library for years and use very outdated version.
Hi Michal
I contacted my server admin, he checked EC2 and /usr/bin/ffmpeg is the path which has been set, but no conversion has been occurred and the movie still is pending

Hi, Hassan.
And version? What is the library version?
Dear Michal
1) I do not know what exactly you mean. Do you mean PHP version? (the domain is using php 5.5.21) If I understand correctly as I checked, the library version is lib64. There are so many library files on the host. How can I get the library version of Amazon services exactly if lib64 in wrong?
2) Also now I noticed that users can't upload pictures, I did not either, but I could upload to Joomla media. I mean uploading pictures to server is possible but not through Jomsocial. Do I need any plugin from your side to install at AWS?
Your prompt response especially regarding photo upload is appreciated.

Hi, Hassan.
1. No, I mean FFMPEG library version.
2. You're correct, I get this notice:
i.imgur.com/LUn1cUz.png
could you translate it?
It means file format is not supported. There is a language switcher at the top of the page. You can choose to see the English errors. I wish today I would fix the problem, but I have to wait for one more day due to this translation. This is the fourth day I have opened this ticket and you are asking me everyday one question. Please if there is a problem assign another supporter to me.
Thanks
Hi, Hassan.
I ask the same question over and over again as you fail to answer it... and answer will explain a lot. There is no need to assign any one else as he will ask the same question again:
And version? What is the library version?
Hi Michal
1) Is there any document on how to understand and find the library version? Where should I go to get it?
2) about the second question that I can not upload any photo through Jomsocial, does it have any relationship to ffmpeg library version?
If no, how can I fix it?
Regards
Nabi
Dear Michal
I am mentioning all version which I see below:
library version of ffmpeg is 0.6.5
libavutil 50.15. 1 / 50.15. 1
libavcodec 52.72. 2 / 52.72. 2
libavformat 52.64. 2 / 52.64. 2
libavdevice 52. 2. 0 / 52. 2. 0
libavfilter 1.19. 0 / 1.19. 0
libswscale 0.11. 0 / 0.11. 0
libpostproc 51. 2. 0 / 51. 2. 0
I hope these will help us to solve both photo and video upload problem
