We downloaded entire site to local host i.e around 500gb data & all videos are playing now on localhost

But same is not working on live site any suggestions.

This issue caused by "Pseudo Streaming" setting, we have plan to remove that feature since "Pseudo Streaming" is not working for video tag HTML5.

Hi,

The problem is caused by old video, which still use .flv extension, you are using old jomsocial version as well.. I suggest you upgrade to the latest version first.

But for new videos .mp4 are can be played well

you need upgrade it to version 3.2.1.5, this is required, this is cant help too much for older version..

I suggest you create the dev subdomain/folder first for test the new jomsocial version.

this is random, I can play some video and cant the another.. and when I open the file I also cant play in chrome itself.. I am not sure if this issue caused by your cdn server or not, since in your local is working properly.. I think this time you discuss this issue with your sys-admin and inspect the server files..

eg. I can play this video URL from chrome :
live.icmgworld.com/images/videos/302/0js4AkRsOTd.mp4
but not for this video URL from cdn
cdn.icmgworld.com/images/videos/1587/MkLzasynTjy.mp4

I also downloaded this file cdn.icmgworld.com/images/videos/1587/MkLzasynTjy.mp4 to my local, and I cant be played too in my local
