No Announcements and URL-Thumbnails in Groups any more

Joomla-Version: 2.5.19
Template: yoo_avenue, yoo_digit, yoo_cloud.... no differences in behavour

1. Issue
Since the update of JS 3.2.0.3 is done the accounts do not have the possibility any more to do any announcement in a group. Only the discussion function is available. I still can do the announcements as the Super User. But when I set up a new member and give them the Super User rights, they are not able to enter a new announcement. Please give it a try with the user I generated to you. You won´t be abler to enter an announcement.



2. Issue
The thumbnails and meta data of an entered URL work fine now on the front page. But in a group wall they don´t!
By entering an URL followed by space a thumbnail is generated and the meta data are imported correctly. But when I post this message I only get a poor URL without thumbnail and without meta data.

Both issues are bugs that I could confirm.

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.

Well, I don't want to promise anything but seeing how fas our developers fix latest bugs... it probably take about 3 days.

Okay - thank you! I coming updates the fixes will be included, right? So I don´t need to fear that all bugs will be back after updating...

Yes, they will be included... but not in 3.2.0.4 as developers didn't fix them yet... probably they will be in next hotfix.

The fear came true - after updating to 3.2.0.5 the fixed thumbail-bugs are back to the main page - before the bug was only in the group pages. Could you please tell me, when the thumbnail bug will be fixed for future? This release seems to be not ready for production.

For some reason fix for this was not included in this hot fix.
Try again to apply Albertus fix for thumbnails.

Thumbnails that where generated before are not shown (for excample www.tromsdorf.com ).
In groups it still doesn´t work at all! ;-(

Is it possible to set a dev copy of your site on your server for tests?

I already reinstalled JomSocial with no effect.
And yes, there is a mirror site - just replace www. by relaunch.
The login credendials are the same
