Hi Alexander.
Please extract those files here > \components\com_community\libraries\crawlers\curl.php(it'll be included into our next installation package)
And then check the issue once again, it should fix the problem. If not, please let us know and we'll look into this once again.
Hi Alexander,
I replied in your other thread, This fix is for the homepage fetch issue and i have replied in that thread, I am expecting the fix for this in the next day or so. Sorry for the delay and confusion.
If you have already applied this patch then the homepage fetch should be working now
This is really confusing. As you can read above I have been writing about the URL festhing in groups/Events. This issue still exists after patching. On the frontpage everything worked fine because it has already been fixed.
And WHO are you asking for FTP credentials and login information and then I update Files by myself and take a look if it works by myself, too? This is annoying in the meantime.
Thank you for your help. We can't wait this fix because URL fetching in groups is the most exiting feature in JS 3.2.x
It is risky for us to keep your admin access working and disable all site protections. Please let me know if you need some more time or if I should keep everything open.
Hi Alexander.
Please extract those files here > components\com_community\controllers\system.php(it'll be included into our next installation package)
And then check the issue once again, it should fix the problem. If not, please let us know and we'll look into this once again.
hi Alexander.
Our developers are still lookingo into this issue, I'll let you know as soon it'll be fixed.
What was this? You replied on this and asked me to download a modified system.php file with a fix to this issue... now I uploaded this to the server and the issue still exists. I run a professional site and it is risky to upload a php file to a productive webspace what is used for business cases. And - by the way - why are you asking for FTP- and Login-Credentials when you don´t use them to fix this issue by yourself? This is wasting my time.
Here is the result of the updates system.php file:
1. Entering a URL followed by space or return (tried both, result was the same)
hi Alexander.
I posted the file, and then I realized it's not fixing the problem so I deleted my post, sorry for confusion. However don't worry, it'll not brake anything.
