After upgrading from 3.2.0.x to 3.2.1.4 the old issues are back - and I am really frustrated!

1. No thumbnails for URL fetching
2. No input field for new announcements and diskussions

1. have you installed the curl library?
2. this issue caused by your template, when I change to anotehr tempate the editor is working fine, but I changed the editor to tinyMCE and everything is working fine

the thumbnail generation worked fine until I updated - no server settings have changed.

I think your curl version is not supported wit our latest code, please you try to update it to curl version 7.28.1

I´m really sorry, but this can not be the solution. My CURL-Version is the latest stable version available in the CentOS-Distribution. Is this (or Redhat, which is the same) something you do not support?
You check so much before installing and everything has its green hook. But in the meantime I can not trust any update from you without testing it on a mirrored system before. And it is the same issue on another system with fresh installation, too.
The next thing is, you ask questions that you can anser yourself by logging in -> system information. Why else do you ask for access information?
This is really disappointing. Sorry!

Yes ouf course - but unistalling and reinstalling - and upgrading with the iJoomla component was the first thing I did. Feel free but please take care that all discussions etc. keep save. A daily backup runs reach night.

After trying out really everything I completely reinstalled JomSocial to a brand new J3.3.3 installation - and the issue still exists!
The good thing is, that now I have a upgraded and working Joomla-3-Website...
But please give me a hand in getting this thumbnail thing working again!

please set open basedir at your php configuration to none. it will make problem when jomsocial want fetching some external source.

Done! Thank you for you hint. But this did not change anything. Still no thumbnails at RUL fetching.
