Yup...I was wrong once again ^^ I uploaded the file again, and it seems to be fixed.
I agree - tested the URL fetching in groups, private groups and events and now it works. The only thing is, not every website seems to provide images for the thumbnails, even if there are images on the fetched websites. But this is more a problem of the website owners.
Awesome, then let me mark this thread as solved :)
After update to 3.2.0.6 all changes are gone and I can not post a message from the board (home and group sites)!
When I enter a Link everything looks fine - including thumbnail. But when I post it, nothing happens and the board looks like before - just like I did not to anything at all. This is the same with simple text posts all over the community.
I used iJoomla to update, then I uninstalled and reinstalled ... the result was always the same!
This is a productive site and I don´t know how to handle that - I had to restore a previous backup to get it work again - all things between are lost ;-(
Hi Alexander,
Both the profile and groups stream thumbnail posting issues have been fixed in 3.2.06 so it looks like there must be something local on your site we will need to look at.
I noticed that admin requires htaccess and i cant see any details for it. I will assign this to our support person Michal to look at but we will need 3.2.06 installed or a test site where we can see the fault in real time. Please update the details or let us know the details of a test site
Hi, Alexander.
I checked site and in error console is displayed 500 error after posting attempt.
prntscr.com/3xy2rg
So we'll need server error log to check if it contains any details of this error.
Hi, Alexander.
Error log doesn't contain any valuable information... but in console still can see that request is closed by server... and 500 error... but no trace of that error in log...
We'll need a developer here.
I gave you a admin access to the webservers backend and a email adress of the hosters support - they answer usually within 15 minutes!
The FTP-Access is changed t the servers root, not the domain root any more, so you have full access to its directories.
In the servers root you find the "logs.zip" file with all logs the server gives to me.
I really must get this site work because it is a productive site.
Thank you!
Alex
