Show featured member status
I had a brainwave to change how I use the "featured" member option, and it would be pretty cool to be able to show if a user was "featured" in the member list and profile - any hack magic mike :-)

Nice improvement, yes perhaps flags for staff would be a nice improvement, especially when the ACL work is done so different staff can be assigned - such as Admin, Moderator etc

It is going to be difficult to change the place to under the picture? If you have a colored profil-picture maybe the "featured" its hard to see.
