I got my Socialize template yesterday and tried to install it, but for some reason Everything Went wrong, even if I red the instructions carefully and followed them. Could some supporter be so kind to look at it please?
Hi, Tom.
I checked and everything was fine :) You just didn't enabled T3 Framework plugin and JomSocial toolbar module for Socialize template. And Beez3 template was assigned to most of site menu items... I changed that.
Now you can try to set Socialize as default template.
Hi, Tom.
It seems that this is your server configuration issue. T3 framework can't create folder on your server... that could mean chmod/chown issue (permission/ownership) issue.
Please ask your hosting provider for assistance.
Hi,
I'm not so sure it has to be with the serverconfiguration, since Everything did install as it should. What chmod should it have? That would be great to know. And Another thing why doesnt my Main Menu show up in the top as it was written it should an it's done as the manual told to do?
For the template in JS it says N/A even if it has been set as default.
Hi, Tom.
Just ask hosting provider for assistance. He'll know how to fix it. Or just create this folder manually: /var/www/html/t3-assets
It means "t3-assets" folder in "html" folder.
Your main menu module is assigned to module position "position-1". Socialize template doesn't have this position and you need to add module to "mainnav".
Here you have view with module positions available:

Hi, Tom.
It seems it works but further you need to create "dev" folder inside...
As dispalyed in notice.
I don't understand this. I did make "dev" folder inside, but now I get Another updating of T3 System Plugin, which not are possible to install. It says it is a wrong file. What is this and why make it so complicated?
HI, Tom.
I told you already: chmod/chow issue - ask you hosting provider for assistance. It will be less complicated if you simply contact your hosting provider.
Hello,
It's easy for you to say who can Everything about this. I did Contact my hosting provider, but they don't seem to fix it either. Anyway, the T3 System Plugin 2.3.1 that came as an update, tells me it's a invalid file.
Hi, Tom.
You see, we are here to help users and we try to provide support that takes int account user skills.
That is why I asked you to contact with hosting provider, presuming that it will be hard for you to solve yourself (because of skills lack or access rights).
I see that something was done (your hosting provider?) because notice is gone:

So case is closed and solved ;)
