It takes 2 times that users told me thay have a problem to change their profile picture.

I've tried to mofied it and I've got the same problem like them.

the issue is :

They upload a profile picture : ok
Profile change with buttons Cancel / Save
I click on Save, the profile picture change (The repositionning doesn't work at that moment !!!)
It's added in acticity stream with the good new profile picture

BUT when reloading profile page, it reload the default profile picture !

Moreover, I don't undestand your logic that when i try to modify again the picture, it loads picture window popup and when choosing the profile picture already uploaded, it creates a new directory with the same picture. It's really illogic ! Then we have 2 directories and modifying several times, it loads the same picture !!!!

You can make a test on my production server but then delete acticity stream for each test !

And I've upgraded to v3.1.1 and it's always the same problem ! It's incredible all problems i had with jomsocial v3 with cover pictures (profile, group, event). We are not your beta testers !

I logged in to your backend but when tried to enter JomSocial installator tried to run. Probably you didn't finished your upgrade.
I used credentials that you provided us in your first post.

Please, finish your upgrade and check if issue still persist.

yes it wasn't finished, i finished it and it always doesn't work for that user.
Moreover I've got again the problem of "Undefined" buttons instead "Cancel/Save" translated that you solved on my website but doesn't seem updated on v3.1.1 release

This issue was caused by JF JS LatestMembers module. I disabled it and cover change works fine.
I'm sorry but I had to change user avatar as well to test upload/change feature.

Your site have a dozens of extensions so yes, you will expect many unpredictable issues caused by js conflicts and mutual extension influence...

It's still there after reload...

I always got a problem with that user. Because I just try again, downloading it's profile picture already uploaded, and trying to upload once again and IT'S THE SAME PROBLEM !!!!!!

And you test on my production server THANKS TO REMOVE ACTIVITY STREAM AND REPLACE PREVIOUS PROFILE PICTURE

I logged in using user credentials that you sent me via PM.
And without any issues I changed avatar. And after that I reverted my changes by uploading old avatar back.
I made some print screens (see att.).
Avatar was still there even if I browse to frontpage and then back to profile.

You have caching on your site so it could cause issues with changes. In backend top right: Vider le cache.

Thanks to watch the problem with that user trying to use it's cover profile already uploaded in it's account.
I resent you it's credentials if needed and thanks to remove activities in activity streams on my production server

I'm sorry for misunderstanding. You merged two similar issues in one thread but they apply to different account and one - first was solved.
ALWAYS remember if you have issue open NEW tread for it and DO NOT add it to existing one. This could be misleading...

I was on your site and saw issue... but honestly, this time I couldn't locate it source.

So I assign developer to this thread, he need to look at it.

Ok, but in fact i've got the same problem as that topic title problem with COVER PROFILE PICTURE.
And I've seen that another users has same problem with COVER PROFILE and COVER EVENT PROFILE
