Can creat an album, but can't upload

Hi, Bert.

Correct, difference is visible.
I applied the same .htaccess as on my server... and it doesn't work.
So it means that this is server related issue. Your server settings may influence plupload script... or other script that makes conflict with plupload.

Then I must ask you to set copy of your site on YOUR server.
We'll threat it as a developer site.
There I'll check some ideas of mine... still it's tricky.

Send me details for developer site via pm.

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

Dear Michal,

thank you for the reply.

I contacted my hosting provider as well, just hoping they would know a solution.

This is their answer. Hope it helps. They need to know what server settings may influence the update.

Bert,

I have disabled the mod_security module completely but unfortunately, the issue still persists. There is no other service that can block the mentioned plupload script. Also there are no other errors related to yuor website except for some missing icons:

[Thu Apr 10 09:38:25 2014] [error] [client 117.192.230.228] File does not exist: /home/embudu/public_html/images/icons/show17.png, referer: www.embudu.com/
[Thu Apr 10 09:38:25 2014] [error] [client 117.192.230.228] File does not exist: /home/embudu/public_html/images/icons/show3.png, referer: www.embudu.com/
[Thu Apr 10 09:38:27 2014] [error] [client 117.192.230.228] File does not exist: /home/embudu/public_html/images/home.png, referer: www.embudu.com/

Please ask the developers exactly which server settings may influence the plupload script so that we can change them if possible. You can check your current account's PHP configuration via this page:

Dear Michal,

would it be an option to try to uninstall 3.1 and install 3.2?

Hi, Bert.

You mean JomSocial 3.2?
No, it's for nothing as it work with current version on my hosting.

I'll try to set a copy on your hosting my self if you're not sure how to do it.

Hi Michal,

thank you for the answer. Yes pleas help me with this.

Do we set a time and date?

Did you see the reply from my hosting provider, or do you have ideas how to solve it. I am afraid as my membership expires soon.

Bert

Hi, Bert.

Yes, I saw it... but it doesn't help at all... As for now I know that issue is limited to your server but need to have a copy there to be sure.

I'll do it today. It should not influence your live site ;)

I'll talk with support manager. If your subscription ends if we support you in this issue further. I don't want to promise anything but I think that this is a little our fault. Due our forum malfunction our developer didn't saw this thread on his pending list...

Hi, Bert.

I just copied your site... I'm surprised too.
So what we can do...? Well, I think that we could just redirect your domain to point that copy :D

Hi Michal,

Should I ask my hosting provider to do so?

second option, copy everything from the test into the original one?

Regards,
Bert

Hi, Bert.

Well, as I saw you have your files straight in public_html folder.
I always create separated folder for each website like this:

ROOT/public_html/my_site

And the point domain to that folder. Thanks to it you could have more websites in public_html folder and nice order ;)

So I recommend to change _test name to something more meaningful and redirect domain.

Copy was made 9.04 so probably some activities and content could not be there...
