JomSocial Expired Socialize Expired

Hi There,

The module boxes within JS have no styling at all and are just plain white, I've tried different module class suffix's to no avail at present, is it possible or how do I make them have a defined colour box?

If you take a look at the screenshot;

They kind of ALL blend in to one and are hard on the eye to really work out which module is apart from the next?

I look forward to hearing from you in due course.

Regards,
Rob

Hi, Robert.

Those modules are assigned to JomSocial built-in positions so you can't assign css suffixes to them.
if you're familiar with css and html you could add some selectors to frontpage.index.php and style them as you want.

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

Michal,

Thank you for the reply, much appreciated.

I have to say, isn't this a shortcoming of Jomsocial & Socialize not working in harmony together?

If you take a look at how I've finally added a new non standard module and position "SWSWSWS Website Feature List" Here... it's below the Guest Hero Login (As explained by your kind self in this thread: Here... I've added sbox9 (with a space before the letter s) and it still doesn't make any difference.

To not have in built styling of module boxes that at the VERY least match said template, is I believe somewhat short sited and I would like to think that iJoomla can look to include this functionality within Jomsocial AND their template Socialize of which I've paid enough for both and continue to do so on renewing.

Basically, what's the point of having these module suffix boxes either coloured or plain with a light grey border like sbox5, if they can't be used site wide?!

:(

Hi, Robert.

JomSocial built-in positions have NOTHING to do with Socialzie template. They are totally unrelated.
Built in module positions apply only to JomSocial. Module class suffixes will be ignored here in EVERY template you'll use.
Built-in positions just don't allow to use module class suffixes.

If you want, you may style those modules separately by creating (coping) certain class defined in Socialzie template and assigning it to your classes for those modules.

If you think that suffixes should be allowed in built-in positions, please post a feature request:
