Adding secondary section / image to the guest login page?
As I have the "Guest Login / Hero Area" page as my sites homepage, I thought it would be great to utilise the spare space if I was able to add a new image below the main hero_bg login section on this page, is this possible?
I would make an image with a collage of our sites features and headings and simply place that image below the login hero area.
Note in the above screenshot the red boxed area towards the bottom.
- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

My apologies, I am getting an internal server error when trying to post my last two replies to my topics so I'm having to send you a dropbox link where I've uploaded the screenshot I'd like you to view for this topic;
P.S. The internal server error I have been getting for the past 12 hrs while trying to post a reply to you with the missing screenshot says;
Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
Please contact the server administrator, [email protected] and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.
More information about this error may be available in the server error log.
Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
Copy this file: ROOT/components/com_community/templates/default/frontpage.guests.php
to: ROOT/templates/your-template/html/com_community (if you don't have "html" or "com_community" folders, feel free to create them)
And add this to very end of the file (after line 129):
<?php $this->renderModules('my_start_module'); ?>
Now just assign a module with any content to position my_start_module (you'll need to type it as you'll not find it on the list)
This will be displayed only for Guests... not logged in users.
You encountered internal server error because of file name ^^... try to not use special characters in file names... ;)
