ACL with Guru Pro

Hello,

I use ACL with Guru Pro to limit access to courses and quizz but it doesn't work. All user can access to all courses and quizz even if I change ACL in the Access tab.

What ACL tab do you mean? Could you do a printscreen?

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

- Use the "Thank You" feature on any post that helped you

Hi,

On which course have you tried ?
I tried on "Pourquoi automatiser ?" which is a course (in Marketing Automation) with a Argent access, users from other groups can always access.

Hi,
I just saw what you mean.
At this moment the course settings have the access priority and then the lesson - so, once I am logged with and user that have access to course he will have full access on lessons too. Is not necessary a bug but is like is done atm.
We must do some modifications in code in order to give the access priority to the lessons settings but without need to Enroll. As soon I will have code changed I will let you know.

Hi,

I'm not sure to understand because I made these tests :
- When an user is not in the right Group, it can access to all courses, change ACL access (courses or lessons) doesn't change anything
- Users have to go to cart to Enroll even if a simple registration is enough (all courses are free) cf. www.jomsocial.com/forum/guru-pro/29805-free-courses
