I haven't been able to find this, but is there an option to create events within groups? That would be nice being that each group is sorta like it's own community. Why not have it's own event calendar?

Arthur Not to mention showing events photos from those events. Everything will be nice and organized. 9 years ago

Anyone came across a module/plugin that can pull random photos from groups? of course with the option to select specific groups to be shown.

I thought I asked this before but I can't find the comment. Why do the admins "photo" area contain all the user's albums, covers, etc?

Xristoph Conrad Arthur I usually create 1 or 2 additional "test users" for my sites, one assigned as REGISTERED and one as AUTHOR and then my SUPER USER or ADMIN account. This way, I log in as any other REGISTERED user and only see the stuff others see 9 years ago

Arthur Okay thats fine but now I have like 30 albums I need to give ownership away to another account. Can anyone tell me how to possibly do that? 9 years ago

Arthur Or I guess I could just change the name of the admin user. For some reason I see this being too simple to be correct lol. 9 years ago

Xristoph Conrad Sadly the fine grained control of photos isn't possible in the current versions of JomSocial. I hate to mention it since JS 4.1 is all about the photo section, but for the past 5 years we've been using a stand-alone product called Gallery. It's a pain in the but to configure but once done, it's "set and forget" galleryproject.org/

Why does the admin have to see the covers and profile photos of their users in our photo gallery? I never understood this.

Arthur More importantly, can I get rid of these without deleting the user's? 9 years ago

Any developers on here I can hire to fix some session issues? I had a freelancer create a way to lock out albums unless they trigger something. But they can't fig out the issues with the system logging the user out all the time. They spent hours on it and gave up. Any pros on here good in this area?

What is this side position in the Socialize Template demo? And is the current template used for this group Socialize?

Arthur I'm asking what position is that on the right thats titled MEMBERS? I can't use ?tp=1 in the demo because preview is turned off. I also can't access admin to just look for myself. 10 years ago

in the socialize template can someone tell me what position that is the the right?

Arthur I'm not explaining this correct. Using your example, that spot that says sidebar 2 is acting as if it's the same position as "js_side_frontpage " When I place a module there, it appears within the same DIV as the stream. I want to know what position that is outside of that area. Which is members (in my screenshot). Members in my screen shot is not the same position you have in yours. 10 years ago

Arthur To be even more clear, using this site as example. On the right side you see 5 different modules right? They are in the position called sidebar B. (NOT SIDE BAR 2) This sidebar B position don't even exist on the default socialize template. Least not the one my friend has. 10 years ago
