it's a very important feature.

Hi, Alfredo.

You mast be aware that every feature like that will require more memory.
Most pages use bunch of extensions and - lets be honest - crappy servers.
Features like this will constantly crash sites and web browsers.
Search query is really good enough :)

We'll see if more user will request for this feature... then we reconsider this again.

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

- Use the "Thank You" feature on any post that helped you

a good developer uses cache if the operation is really expensive, which i dont think so in this case.
we are talking about ONE query, searching just by name and nothing else.
maybe i will do that by myself. it's really easy job.

HI, Alfredo.

You look particularly... we have to look globally... ;)
Sure, try to introduce it on your site, share with others. If it become popular, we'll think about introducing that feature.

well you should implement this feature anyway, it's mainly important for a search form like the socialize one.

Soon it will shows the avatars too.

It you want to test it, just unzip the package in template/socialize/html, then in backend set "ajaxsearch" as toolbar module style
