HI, Jan.

There is no fault :) In one of the latest versions we moved privileges into ACL.
So you need to assign certain profile to Joomla! group and then configure rights for them.
Event creation wasn't moderated but was allowed or not. The same settings (and more) you'll find in JomSocial ACL settings:
Backend -> Components -> JomSocial -> Configuration -> Access control prntscr.com/hfwze2

Thank you for your answer.
I have set groups to be enabled (check attached file), but still nothing.
And how can I enable group creation for just one multiple profile?
or do I have to create a group of users in a joomla for each multiple profile that I link to...?
Thank you
Jan

HI, Jan.

Yes, correct. You need to create separated Joomla! user groups for each profile type, then assign that group in profile, finally configure ACL.
Make sure that your users are assign to correct user groups though.

Hi again,
I have created a new group of users. I have allowed group creation access, but I still do not see a button to create a new group. (check attached file please)
Can you tell me where I'm making a mistake?
Thank you

Ahoj Jan.

I just created new regular user and assigned it to Event Manager group.
Then logged in at frontend and I was able to see the button: prntscr.com/hikeco

Ahoj Michale :)
Yes, everything works correctly in events. I have allowed events from the beginning.
The new ones are groups. Try creating a new group (Skupiny in czech) with your account. You will miss the button.
I think Jomsocial does not respect ACL settings. Maybe I have something wrong set up.
Thank you for your support.

I meant creating a separate group. Not a group event.

I have regular user and I was able to create group: prntscr.com/hixe28
User belong to "Registered" Joomla! user group.
Maybe a particular user has issues with group creation? Could you provide me credentials of this user?

Ahoj Michal,
Group creation does not work for event managers. I created a new event manager event via jomsocial frontend registration. Like simplyGD, the same password: simplyGD and group can not create. You can login and try.
Thank you.
