really strange. I cant replicate it at my chrome.
goto joomla backend > system > clear cache. that for clearing joomla cache. you can savely to that. clear any cache will not harm your site.

what user that you using for logged it with chrome? maybe only related with that user.

Nope... still having the issue... cleared both browser and the site cache. And logged in under admin and under normal account in In Cognito mode in chrome...

It just takes a long time for the statusbox to show and the website is "frozen" untill it shows... Michal has the same issue...

at your homepage after logged in, the page size is 12 MB, that huge. because too much images need to be loaded.
I suggest you to limit default display numbers of activities stream. and try to disabling members module. let see the result.
I dont want make any changes at your site, because your site is a live site.

Have changed it but its still awefull... have not had this problem before the change of the codes to show it to only friends...

Maybe we can figure out an other way because this is really effecting the website and if i want to offer paid memberships, this can not happen.

please check it. I revert back that override file and I replacing it by using CSS
because your stream only displaying Me & Friends stream item, so its doesn't make seen if you only displaying single option under filter options.

so I remove all that options by using CSS:
/templates/theme1395/css/template.css

}

.joms-activity-filter-dropdown > li.lastItem {
  display: block;
}

your site has big size content on every page load. every browser have they own way to rendering the page.
we cant do anything with this issue.

about that option, 1000 is a character limit, and the dropdown for filtering stream types (video only, status only, etc)

because default filter for stream using I & friends, all users (including administrator) will filtered like that.
but at backend admin still can see all users stream. we cant make same for frontend + backend.

I understand... but this was not the case before. I guess the upgrade to 4.1 might also have a thing to do with it... At this point i have set the membersblock to 15 and the postload to 20 and it now shows much faster. Thank you for looking though... :)

I know that the front-end is different than back-end due to the filter-option to Friends & I set in the back-end. I have looked at it and the only thing is see is..... ... it seems that the front-end is also showing the posts of users who requested friendship, but not yet confirmed. Is that normal or is that a bug?
