and I cant replicate this issue at my test site. so this is not jomsocial bug.

can I installing Akeeba Backup? so I can download your site to my local server.

or try to upgrade it to jomsocial 4.1.5

I installed xampp on my laptop with a fresh install of Jomsocial v4.1.5 and the problem is still there! Once I add additional test users and login as one of them, the points are not updating on the home page. You have to login as one of the test users and you will see. It updates on the profile page but not the home page.

This seems to be a Jomsocial bug. I really need to get this fixed. My intranet site is way overdue and my manager is asking for it.

steps to replicate:
1. install xampp
2. install the latest versions of Joomla and Jomsocial
3. login jomsocial and test posting on home page. (Points updating at this point)
4. Check user points on jomsocial administrator backend (Points updating )
5. Add additional test users
6. Login as one of the new test users and test posting on the home page
7. Check user points on jomsocial administrator backend (Points NOT updating)

If that all you did was remove activities on the stream, then the problem will arise again once my users start posting to the stream.

This is not the site I would be using. I have a backup with plugins installed and fully configured to restore on the server. If you edited something, let me know how to replicate the fix. Thanks.

I login as the user tester, post to the home page stream and the points does not update.

Sorry to re-open this post but I found another issue with the points. When I changed Ronald Mohammed's point to 250 from the administrative interface I noticed Nicole Parks-Radix and Ritson Yearwoods points drastically when up from 7 points to 250+.

Maybe when I changed Ronald's points from the backed it updated theirs as well.

But what I think is happening is that when someone adds a new friend, the points are added to the other users points. For example, Randy Siew had 12 points, Karlene Lewis had 1 point, Randy added Karlene as a friend but now Karlene has 13 points. Karlene's 1 point was added to Randy's 12 points. It should be that Karlene has 2 points, not 13.

My site is now has some real users but feel free to add test users.
