ISSUE SUMMARY: posting anything (pics, vids, etc) on the home activity stream doesn't award the user karma points. I checked the rules and changed everything to 1. It works in groups etc but not on the home page.

EXPECTED RESULT: points awarded to users for posting on the home page.
BROWSER: chrome.

I tried at my test site, there is no issue with it. please make sure you did rule scan, jomsocial backend > configuration > user points, and click rule scan

I used the update and the points are awarded on the homepage now. However, the karma points and the top member points are different. This will only confuse the user. It confuses me.

This is back. Another Jomsocial person is trying to fix an issue with profile covers not updating and now this issue is back. No user points updating on the homepage

Hi Albertus, yes it is related. Whatever the other guy did caused your previous fixes to be lost. I tried reinstalling jomsocial. Let me reinstall my last site backup and and get back to you. Thanks buddy.

I reinstalled jomsocial but now:

The older version of the top members module you installed for me is gone.

And karma points not updating when i post on the homepage.
