Hi Ronald,
Me and albert inspected this and all codes are fine, the query to update the points already triggered, but I am not sure why the code is be reverted after update the database.
Well, can you install another clean Joomla and Jomsocial installation on your sub folder please? eg create new instalaltion
xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:8000/jomsocial_test/
thank you
Nah, so this is caused by 3rd party plugin.. I suggest you disabled all 3rd party plugins or you re-setup your site on that new installation
Hi,
here the fix:
edit /components/com_community/views/frontpage/view.html.php at line 64,
changing it from
$uri = CRoute::_('index.php?option=com_community&view=' . $config->get('redirect_login'), false);$uri = 'index.php?option=com_community&view=' . $config->get('redirect_login');
Hello,
I reinstalled the site from scratch, no 3rd party plugins installed. Points are updating on the home page for only the first user. I noticed when I add a test user it stops working.
Try adding and deleting a test user and see for yourself.
Updated to 4.1.5 but still getting the same problem. It only happens on the home page.
Unfortunately I can't upload to a "real" hosting server. This site is an internal company intranet. My company only runs Windows servers and this is what I have to work with.
If you can help me resolve the issue, that would be much appreciated. Do you want to see the config.ini file for apache? or the php.ini file?
Thanks.
Hi Ronald,
You you use IIS server? or maybe can you install xampp server on your windows ?
thank you!
we will know after you try it.. since we never test this issue on IIS, but always works on xampp / apache server
