Hi, Carla.

I don't want to worry you but it seems that your site have serious issues and uploading photos is not one of them. I disabled your current template and set another - Joomla! default one - but your site doesn't follow backend changes. At least regarding template change... i'm afraid you'll need to do a serious overhaul of your site.

I was able to upload photo on stream. but you're right that I can't do that direct in album. So first what we do in that case - we check if template influence uploading process... In case of your site I can't test that... no backend template changes are applied.

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

- Use the "Thank You" feature on any post that helped you

Hi,

the upload used to work fine with this template.

To which template do you want to switch to?

I changed to Beez5 and no change in the result, the menu link doesn't appear.
You have to set it as default and they assign all the menus to the template.

Hi. Carla.

I know how to assign template... the fact is that change was not visible for me at frontend even if I DISABLED template and assigned another.

I assign developer to this thread.

hi,

This is weird, issue I cant found the root of this issue even I cant debug this.. anyway please you open this file components/com_community/controllers/photos.php, find this file :

$photos = JRequest::get('Files');
replace to :
$photos = $_FILES['Files'];

If this issue still not fixed, I need your help to you to create staging box for jomsocial on your server, with clean joomla and Jomsocial installation. So we will know the root of this issue.

thank you

I think it's off, I'm getting:

open_basedir no value no value

and inn php.ini

; open_basedir, if set, limits all file operations to the defined directory
; and below. This directive makes most sense if used in a per-directory
; or per-virtualhost web server configuration file. This directive is
; *NOT* affected by whether Safe Mode is turned On or Off.

Hi

I see, this issue is coming from your menu photo structure, please you disabled / remove all menu which related with photos page.. and if you want you just enable photos menu from jomsocial toolbar. Try it and let me know how it goes.

thank you
