I have looked all over but this is the only place the New Topic button shows up, so sorry if it's in the wrong place. I would just very simply like to turn off the member post that show up on the landing page at www.madd0-talent.com . Can you please just tell me where that setting is?

Yes, I believe you are correct. In laymen terms, when someone logs into our index page, www.madd-talent.com , I don't want any of the post made by members to show up at all.

I am sorry, but I cut and past the code you gave me directly into the exact custom.css file in the directory you called out and the post are still showing up on the index landing page. When a person types in www.madd-talent.com , all I want them to see is the same page minus all the post that members have made, just to make sure I am letting you know what I want.

for old status you which already posted should be deleted manually.. my solution only for avoid to created new status by the users.

Okay, thank you and I think I understand. No new post will show up, but in order to make the home or index page free of the posts, I will need to delete them. How do I delete those older post? Also, I have some questions about different issues, but the button for my "New Posts" is not showing up. Can you tell me why?

to remove another status stream you should delete them from database, run this query :

DELTE FROM #__community_activities WHERE app='profile' AND comment_type='profile.status'

Good day again. I am sorry to make this difficult, but the reason I always select the "Explain things very clearly because I have very little experience" from the drop down menu when I create a help post, is because I have very little experience and don't know what I am really doing. All I have done, I have only done because you Pro's have helped me do it. While I appreciate this "DELTE FROM #__community_activities WHERE app='profile' AND comment_type='profile.status'" fix you sent me, I have no idea of how to run a query. Can you please explain very carefully what I need to do to complete this task so I can get it done?
As far as the button goes, it's the button you select on this web page when you need to create a new question or thread for any issue you may need support or technical help with. Mine is not there and I don't know why, so I can't create any new threads for other issues I would like to resolve.
