Since I have upgraded my Joomla from 2.5.x to 3.3.x when the profile view in preferences is set to friends, non friends can still view the profile.

This is a major privacy violation and needs to be resolved ASAP.

This has previously been reported on the forum with no fix given.

I am not able to replicate this at all on the current version, if this is happening on your site please check there are no modifications to any files and that you are running the latest version of Jomsocial

Please see this thread, Dimas replicated and advised is a valid bug, I only have two html overrides (register.index and frontpage.guests) and no core hacks to Jomsocial. It has only happened since Joomla update to 3.3.6

I am sorry, I still dont get any patch for this.. our dev still focus on version 4, as you can see the version 4 is release on our community site.

Maybe this issue will be fixed in version 4.

This is a serious privacy bug and Jomsocial's response is "maybe it will be fixed in version 4"

I see the beta is scheduled to be released on Feb 1st, so a stable most likely start of March - it's too long to wait

I don't renew my license every 6 months for this kind of support, I renew it for bugs to be fixed

This bug has now been an issue for me for 5 weeks, it's also now 1 week since you advised a fix would be made available

3.2.16 has been mentioned by staff coming on for 3 months now

If you aren't going to release it I would rather just know rather than keep waiting and having to chase this issue

I guess Jomsocial only cares about releasing JS4 and the flood of renewals and new customers

Jomsocial 3.2.1.6 has been released and Sinisa has told me the fix is in it. If you still have issues with this bug please let me know
