I would like to have the 'United Kingdom' as the default selected country when new members complete a profile page.

At the moment they have to scroll all the way to the bottom of the list.

I followed the directions here - www.jomsocial.com/forum/profile-universa...eld-to-united-states but this did not help. I cleared the cache and opened in a new browser but the order had not changed.

Is the order being read from a different file?

replace COM_COMMUNITY_LANG_NAME_FRANCE with COM_COMMUNITY_LANG_NAME_UNITEDKINGDOM

Yes. That worked. Not quite what I was trying to do which was have UK & US appear at the top of the list but this is as close as I think we are going to get.
