Show a list of ceratin category of users as grid in a module

Hi,

is there a way to show a list of certain category of users as grid in a module.
For example I would like to have a page with news and reviews about photography, then on the side or one of my template positions a module with just photographer profiles as a grid( just as the members module) but on this particular page just photographers. So then I can do the same for music or actor pages etc

I would hope jomsocial could offer this without me having to spend extra since this is the reason for me buying jomsocial.

Thanks

Hi, Patrick.

I'll disappoint you but there is no such a module.
You'll need to ask developer for help: www.jomsocial.com/jomsocial-developers
Or - if you have skills - create module by your own (or alter existing module).

Also you could request for that feature here:

uservoice.jomsocial.com/forums/101561-feature-request
www.jomsocial.com/community/groups/viewg...stions-for-the-staff

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

- Use the "Thank You" feature on any post that helped you

Hi

Thanks for your reply.

If I create a new members module, can you guide me on how to edit it to do so or have something similar?

Thanks

Hi, Patrick.

I'm sorry but we don't support customizations.
This one will be a bigger one.

Please, read our support policy what we don't support: www.jomsocial.com/support (at the bottom).
