about tooltips

some's avatars give a tooltip showing the username (see attached picture)


.

How to change/add informations (specifics fields of user profile) displayed on the tooltip ?
Is there a way to get this tooltip on all avatars ?

Or is there a plugin working for this ?

Hi, florent.

Tooltips are displayed in Members modules. Few days ago one of our users tried to add more information to that tooltip but when changing tab to featured - default look was loaded by ajax script. You can read this topic here: www.jomsocial.com/forum/modules-plugins-...module-options#89311

So maybe contact him directly for advice.

You can try to introduce tooltips in other places it should work better than in module as their display is static. Remember to use original-title="some data" and class="jomNameTips".

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.
