Hi, there
I have installed brand new Joomla 3.7 with brand new 4.3.4 JomSocial.
Joomla translation is ok, menu is translated fine . The problem is front end translation.

1. I had downloaded italian language pack and installed it. renamed languages/it directory in languages/it-IT and "it.com_community.ini" in "it-IT.com_community.ini" ( there is a bug ...it's correct ? )
2. There are Menus built and language switcher deployed.

But somehow there is no Italian frontend translation
Please help!

I am currently translating single sentence at time , but it is a very long work

Hi,

To fix language you need apply this solution www.jomsocial.com/blog/j37-translations and for menu translation you should follow this documentation.jomsocial.com/wiki/Translate_Toolbar

If you need further help, would you mind provide me backend and FTP access, please?

thank you!

Hi i have solved . I think it's urgent that you update your documentation about language ( it miss more info ) .

If you prefer, in attach my modified file it-IT.com_community.ini for italian language, now it works . For other users .

You have to copy unzipped file into it-IT folder ( after installed joomla italian language )

regards
Luigi
