Welcome the Technical Support section. Help us in assisting you by providing us with a concise and descriptive elaboration of your issues. Be specific and if possible, provide us with a step-by-step instruction in replicating your problem.
Photo is quite big. But still I was able to upload it.
It take a while and green bar doesn't reflect real upload status.

Try to add it again but this time just leave it uploading. Then - after a while check if it was uploaded.
- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.
- Use the "Thank You" feature on any post that helped you
Can you please explain on why it is quite big? It says its only 2.7mb. What can we do to make images upload faster. Users are not going to wait as I even thought it was not working right. There is no status bar showing its uploading. We have a max size of 8mb...should that be lowered?
I saw your server settings so even 65 MB files may be uploaded.
3MB photo is a big one, IMHO too big as you won't be able to fit it on your screen in original dimension.
It will be shrinked anyway to fit your current viewport.
So it's better to scale photo down.
It seems it has something to do with image processing by upload script.
What I did was just add image to upload and wait a bit... after a while it was done. But as I said progress bar was full but image showed up after a while...
I assign developer to take a look into this.
