How to fix Photo/Picture "Rotate Left/Right" feature?

Hello,

I met error messages when trying to rotate picture/photo left or right anywhere it's possible. Please see attachment for full illustration.

Then, I went to forum threads given below, and ascertained that this rotation feature may have been disabled on Jomsocial 4.1.

Nonetheless, it does work on your own community, would you please tell me which root file I should modify in order to fix this "rotate left/right" feature?

Could you upload your printscreen to external service e.g: prnt.sc/


- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

- Use the "Thank You" feature on any post that helped you

Hello,

Thanks for your prompt return.

As I am not accustomed to using that external service provider, please take a look again at my issue illustrations sent one by one. If it doesn't work, I'd appreciate if you could send me an email address where I could send them to you.

I just went through again this issue to ascertain that this problem occured only with the Profile photo (Avatar); otherwise said, I can use the rotate feature on any picture not chosen as the default profile photo (see attached photo).

Hello,

Upgrading to 4.1.2 didn't fix the issue. However, your second solution (replacing bundle.js at /components/com_community/assets/release/js/bundle.js) did solve my problem. Now everything works fine, just like in your own Jomsocial Community.
