PHoto upload error

ISSUE SUMMARY:


Getting issues when trying to upload a picture so that I can insert it as a avatar or whatever. I'm getting " Uploaded file type not supported" nothing fixes the problem . never happened before and these are jpeg and png files

Just test it upload jpg from sharebox and its working fine

Photo still wont upload when trying to change avatar. trying to change the avatar on one of my groups and says file not supported. its jpg.

Ok i tried using Firefox instead of Internet explorer. I'm having several issues with numerous things right now as yall can tell not just photos. What I found was that when using Firefox i can upload pictures but not with internet explorer.

Please you try on another PC, I am not sure why this issue happens, because totally works fine on my IE 11

Problem is not my PC . the website as a whole cannot function properly on Internet Explorer.. Tested on 3 computers. Everything and everything does not work properly. I give up

If I delete everything and start all over will I lose my customers that have already signed up?

If you not delete the database and folder images, you wont lose your customers data.. well, hard for me to replicate it so I cant give you the solution because everything is fine here..

I assigned this issue to our another team to inspect this, maybe he can replicate it.

Well since i have tons of issues mainly with Internet Explorer and I noticed i have more than one index.php file and both are taking 6 to 13 seconds to load each . I decided to upgrade my hosting to something that has twice the processing speed and storage along with instead of being a Windows hosting it will be Linux.

I'm going to reinstall everything on that new server.

Sure, please, notice us after you successfully migrate to another server.

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

- Use the "Thank You" feature on any post that helped you
