JomSocial Expired Socialize Expired

Hi

When this module is published on a non Jomsocial page the notification popup windows won't work and if you click friend request or messages it takes you to the page instead of opening the popup

It seems that the javascript isn't loaded on non Jomsocial pages, can this be fixed or a quick fix given so I can load the relevant Javascript or other dependencies on non Jomsocial pages?

This was also an old bug with the community toolbar on the older socialize template version which has since been fixed.

Hi, Alan.

This issue was reported to our developers and we're working on it.
Thank you for reporting it thought.
I hope that fix will be available soon.
You may follow original report thread: www.jomsocial.com/forum/modules-plugins-...ications-not-working

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

Thanks Michal

I see original thread said no fix will be given, I assume that was just in regards to the community toolbar as it was old version, where as mod_notify and mod_hellome are current the team will work on a fix?

Hi, Alan.

Yes, but it means - not fix will be given for Socialize 1.2.9.
But it's related with your issue...

Hi Michal

Just to let you know I fixed this on my site by disabling Javascript compression within the T3 template framework settings.
