What is a good plugin to connect your jomsocial 3.1.x with phpbb - the newest version?
I am looking for it on the internet but can't find anything...

I used to have blogomunity phpbb bridge, but they no longer seem to have a website about it :(

Suggestions are very welcome.

The application shows user's posts in his profile.
Synchronization of avatar changes in both JomSocial and phpBB 3.
Synchronization of profile changes in both JomSocial and phpBB 3 including custom fields.
Ability to redirect phpBB profile and private messages to JomSocial user profile and messaging system.
Synchronization of friends in JomSocial and phpBB.
Forum links in JomSocial profile menu.
Requires p8pbb bridge installed.

phpBB forum can be automatically created once the JomSocial group is created. You can setup parent phpBB forum and the forum to copy permissions from. JomSocial group creator can be forum's moderator.

phpBB group can also be created once the JomSocial group is created. You can setup the group to copy permissions from.

You can synchronize user's "join" and "leave" events to phpBB group after joining or leaving JomSocial group (new member's approvement is counted). phpBB group can be deleted after JomSocial group is deleted.

You you can show the link to JomSocial group's forum in it's page.

I had this one already on my joomla 1.5.26, but it says it is compatible with jomsocial 2.6, so not with higher versions and there are not developping anymore... so not really useful....

Do you have other suggestions? What are you using on this forum and jomsocial??

Try to ask developer for new version of this addon.

Here we're using Kunena forum. Kunena has really good integration with JomSocial, you can enable a couple options to integrate both components. Simply install Kunena on your site (it's free..) and test all posibilities for integration with our component. Let me also add that there's a plugin which allows you to show kunena posts on profile page (it's called My Kunena), and in back-end you can enable option for using JomSocial profiles in whole Kunena forum.
