You can synchronize user's "join" and "leave" events to phpBB group after joining or leaving JomSocial group (new member's approvement is counted). phpBB group can be deleted after JomSocial group is deleted.

The very best!
All I can say is this is the very best bridge I have ever used, and i have used a LOT of them. Admin is very helpful, and very fast to respond to any problems, issues, or just simple questions. Actually the best phpBB bridge component I've ever seen. Fully integrates with Jomsocial and Xmap which isn't a feature to underestimate !
