This is what happens, could you help figure out ?

ISSUE SUMMARY:
Once the JS Upgrade is done to latest release (4.2.4), the activity wall load a white page with error 500.

Groups, Members and other functions than the activity wall works correctly.
Noticed that the upgrade process takes long time at the template update step.

STEPS TO REPLICATE:
1 Ijoomla Upgrade to 4.2.4 OK
2 Reload page generates http error 500 and white activity stream page
3 Other JS functions are OK

5 Site rolled-back to working release (4.2,.1)
RESULT - Activity stream whaite page
EXPECTED RESULT - Activity Stream display

Make sure you upgraded JomSocial to latest version 4.2.4 available here: www.jomsocial.com/component/digistore/licenses

Applied the recommended patch core.zip but still, my activity wall does not load
I can log-in, then go on any other page than the activity wall which generates the error 500.

The back-office is OK.

I can leave it at "buggy" release 4.2.4 for some more minutes but will have to go back to operational mode in the next hour, if you have time, we may look at this live now.

Any other clue ?

HI.

When I visited your site, after login to frontend activity stream was displayed...
Thus I focused on backend.

In order to fix an issue we need to see it. If you report and issue and roll back changes to version that has no issues... then we can't do anything. As today weekend starts, please upgrade your site at Sunday about midnight. I assign our developer to this thread for further investigation.

Site is still in 4.2.4 now.

Following the error log trail, I noticed that the memory error and upgraded php setting memory_limit to 256MB .

Activity stream page is now loading but it takes ages to appear.

Can you help figure out what is taking so long and so much memory ?

Looks like the memory limit increase + cleanup of side modules made it loading and at a correct speed.
