Notifications in activity stream for public group discussions

ISSUE SUMMARY:
When a new discussion is added to a group or a comment is made in reply I'd like it to display a notification of the post in the main activity stream the same way wall posts are reposted.
STEPS TO REPLICATE:
1 make new discussion in a public group
2 add a comment to discussion
3 check JS home page
4 is there a notification on the activity stream of the new discussion or the comment?

EXPECTED RESULT
discussions and comments from groups reposted on activity stream.

NOTE
Currently working on local host so server info not provided. We'll update to dev site if problem is a bug.
Hi,
its suppose to exist at main stream items (here me test result):
please goto jomsocial backend > configuration > user poins, click Rule Scan
refresh the page, and make sure there are "New Group Discussion" and "Reply Group's Discussion" at activity type and Activity State not disabled
