- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

I already checked for duplicate entries in the 'community_config' table, all is good there.

Magic quotes are off, all minimum requirements are met.

Issued not 'resolved'

Please advise

Hi.

Will not get to front- or backend: prntscr.com/6ftrvl
Could you restore your site from backup?

Then update this thread - I'll try to install it.

Yes I know. This error is because the update has not completed.

The error message Table 'type34_cdb_main.j25_community_theme' doesn't exist is because the installation has hung whilst updating the database. The table has not been created yet, thats the reason I'm posting here.

Unfortunately it is not possible to restore from a backup.

There should be no issue with accessing the backend.

Please advise.

HI.

I know the reason :)
I just didn't noticed that I was redirected from backend to frontend... URL to backend you provided must be differed (protected by token? Adminexile?) Please, correct that URL.

Hi.

It doesn't look good... When I installed iJoomla Installer I get:

Error loading module MySQL server has gone away SQL=SELECT m.id, m.title, m.module, m.position, m.content, m.showtitle, m.params, mm.menuid FROM j25_modules AS m LEFT JOIN j25_modules_menu AS mm ON mm.moduleid = m.id LEFT JOIN j25_extensions AS e ON e.element = m.module AND e.client_id = m.client_id WHERE m.published = 1 AND e.enabled = 1 AND (m.publish_up = '0000-00-00 00:00:00' OR m.publish_up <= '2015-03-12 15:56:01') AND (m.publish_down = '0000-00-00 00:00:00' OR m.publish_down >= '2015-03-12 15:56:01') AND m.access IN (1,1,2,3) AND m.client_id = 1 AND (mm.menuid = 0 OR mm.menuid <= 0) ORDER BY m.position, m.ordering

When try to run install for the first time:

prntscr.com/6fvg6z

On second time when it hanged:

<title>Error: 144 Table './type34_cdb_main/j25_community_apps' is marked as crashed and last (automatic?) repair failed SQL=CREATE TABLE IF NOT EXISTS `j25_community_apps`

Try to run repair on that table j25_community_apps in PHPmyAdmin.
