This is a follow-up to: www.jomsocial.com/forum/installation/229...rofile-country-field

Issue

I am trying to modify the order of the countries displayed in the existing profile country field so that United States displays by default.

I have an overridden and working register.profile.php located at:
/templates/thechaplainconnection/html/com_community/register.profile.php

What Has Been Tried Already

As per: www.jomsocial.com/forum/profile-universa...fault-country#97882 I have tried adding the following code additions:

<script type="text/javascript">
	joms.jQuery(document).ready( function(){
		if(joms.jQuery('#field11').val() == "") joms.jQuery('select').val('COM_COMMUNITY_LANG_NAME_UNITEDSTATES');
		});
</script>

and also tried:
<script type="text/javascript">
	joms.jQuery( document ).ready( function(){
		joms.jQuery('#field11').val('COM_COMMUNITY_LANG_NAME_UNITEDSTATES');
	});
</script>

Both have NOT WORKED.

Obviously, I am missing something. Could you please login with the (vsupport) id included with this thread and and see what I am doing wrong?

Thanks
Chris
