Hi David,
I followed all the instructions in that thread (deleting the toolbar - including deleting all references to it in the database) but it's still hanging when it gets to that step.
Could you have a look at it please?
Thanks,
Tom.
Hi Tom,
i got this error when installation
"1062 Duplicate entry '0-1-profile-*' for key 'idx_client_id_parent_id_alias_language' SQL=INSERT INTO `rg39p_menu` (`title`,`alias`,`link`,`access`,`menutype`,`type`,`published`,`parent_id`,`language`,`lft`,`rgt`) VALUES ('Profile','profile','index.php?option=com_community&view=profile','1','jomsocial','component','1','1','*','828','843')
hi Tom,

Hi Tom,
please check again your site.. i already successful install jomsocial on your backend :)
Warm regards,
David
Hi David,
Thanks for that. It seems to be working.
However, there is another problem. I've selected a different template from the default template under template manager (joomla template not jomsocial template) and assigned it to all the jomsocial toolbar pages. However, when I click on any of the items in the jomsocial toolbar, it still uses the default template (which doesn't work because for some reason jomsocial doesn't display well on it)
Could you have a look at this too please?
Thanks,
Tom.
Oh, the link to the frontend is
www.thespanishcat.com/learn/index.php/community
Thanks,
Tom.
Hi Tom,
maybe you can try to create new topics about your template issue because i'm not expert on template :)
Warm regards,
David
Hi David,
I've done that - thanks.
But now I'm having another problem that you might be able to help with.
I just updated to joomla 3.3.0 and when I try to go to jomsocial I get this error: 500 - Unable to load format class.
If you go here you'll see what I mean
www.thespanishcat.com/learn/index.php/community
You'll need to login using admin login details provided.
Regards,
Tom.
