I'm currently running jomsocial 3.1 with socialize. I'd like to do an upgrade to the new version of jomsocial 3.2. but I'm a bit confused on how to go about this.
Can someone provide me the steps?
Especially how to uninstall 3.1?
What I understand is that I need to uninstall jomsocial first form the extension manager but I'm not entirely sure how to go about this because I see many "jomsocial" related components etc listed.

You can upgrade jomsocial throught ijoomla installer.. :)
to uninstall 3.1 version you can go to extensions manager on joomla backend and click on manage menu... use search on that section and type "community" (without quote) and check only the "community" item and click uninstall on top toolbar of this section..

DON'T FORGET TO BACKUP YOUR ENTIRE SITE + DATABASE FIRST BEFORE UPGRADE...
