Michal,
I thought I followed your instructions carefully and perfectly, but because the names are still visible on the groups that I added the code to, I must have missed something. I created the custom file and placed in in the directory you explained to me to place it in, ROOT/templates/your-template/html/com_community/layouts/groups just in case you need to look for it. I don't know if I was supposed to move this file to another directory after I added the lines you asked me to add, which I have added and I am placing below for you to see.

Thread with Directions: www.jomsocial.com/forum/groups/33008-hid...-name-on-cover-image

Please take a look and let me know what I did not do correctly. I only modified three groups, the Houston Astos, The Atlanta Braves and the Arizona Diamond Backs. If you can show me what I did wrong, I will just add the other teams after it's working.

Hi, David.

Hmmm... David... "your-template" means your current template folder... not to create folder with name "your-template" :)
And I already copied file in right location as I implemented that hack for you...
So all you need to do is to expand condition with another AND...
File is located: ROOT/templates/socialize/html/com_community/layouts/groups as Socialize is your current template.

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

- Use the "Thank You" feature on any post that helped you

Thank you again Michal,
I tried to add the extra code you gave me, "AND ($group->id != 21)) { ?>" and I added just this one line, but after adding it, the group name still appeared along with the code in black.
What am I doing wrong? If you could just add on of the "AND lines" to that code, than I am sure I can copy that and simply change the group id to add all the ones I need. I think I am somehow getting the code line wrong. If you add one to this line, you can add the one for the Arizona Diamond Backs as I tried.

Thanks,

David
