Multiple Group Messages

Some of my users are complaining that they are receiving 3 identical messages at the same time for every activity item that is done in the group (photo upload, create discussion, etc). Some are only getting 1 message. Where should I start looking to try and find what the issue is?

Do you also have this settings? Do you have configured cron job?

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

- Use the "Thank You" feature on any post that helped you

Michal,

I went to that other post and turned that feature off. If my cron job is successful then I really don't need it right? The difference with the two is that messages and such only get sent went the cron job runs where the other checks for new messages every page load (thus potentially slowing things down a bit)?

I will leave a few group posts and see if there are any more duplicates...
