When someone sent me a private message in Jomsocial, I got notification in my email multiple times. Is there a bug in the jomsocial or it is something to do with the mail system? I am using Rackspace mailgun service using SMTP for mail delivery.
- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

May i know whether the developer is looking at the issue? Whenever users post a thread, tons of emails from the same post will be sent to the user which make them angry and potentially blocking all my emails. It really destroys our reputation after building more than 2500 users. Hope the issue will be solved soon. Thanks.
this issue caused by this configuration "Send Email on Page Load", I already disabled configuration "Send Email on Page Load" now, the next step you should setup the cron job for generating the email notifications
