We Need Folders In "VIEW ALL" Groups and Events - Not just a cool look!

ISSUE SUMMARY:

The use of "FOLDERS" is extremely important in file categorization and storage... Everybody knows that. The need to have to explain this to anybody or encourage anybody to use folders on this day in age, is enough to drive everyone GRAZY!!!

Now, Why in the world has the JomSocial Team done away with folders ( for Groups and Events Categories) in JomSocial 4.0.2 ?

It looks like the JomSocial team expects everyone to have just very few "Groups and Events " Categories on their websites. Of course that looks neat for a few categories; but that expectation really, really puts unnecessary limitations on us the "UNCOMMON" Entrepreneurs using JomSocial 4.0.2 on our "UNCOMMON" IDEAS.

Right now I have more than 700 Groups & Events Categories (Several Parent Categories and many subcategories) on my Jomsocial website. To display these categories to my website visitors as one very long scrolling list is clearly one crazy idea.
Yet this is exactly what you get in JomSocial 4.0.2. Really?? It's mind-boggling.

MY PLEA to Jomsocial Team is: Please make use of category folders on "VIEW ALL" Groups and Events in JomSocial 4.X today, NOT in the next revision - but as in yesterday.

I'm sorry but Support Forum is a wrong place to ask for features. We are here just a technical support, we can't ask for features in your name or implement features into JomSocial. The only way to ask a feature is posting here:

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

- Use the "Thank You" feature on any post that helped you
