Groups module doesn't show private groups

Hi,

Since update 3.2.1.5 the group module doesn't show private groups anymore.
This is a good initiative for non-members of the private group but members of the private group should see the group link in group module for easy access.
Can you please modify this in next release.

Many users was asking us to hide private groups in module to respect their privacy...
If you have new it should be done, please post here:

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

- Use the "Thank You" feature on any post that helped you

As said. It's good to hide private groups but only if you are not subscribed to them.
Instead of showing nothing now, you could have done something smart. But of course, that would have been too much to ask...

This is NOT a feature request but something you should have thought of when touching to the module.

Hi Marc,

I have made a development ticket for this to be added. Once they have made the change we will let you know the changes so you can apply it before the next release.

I will mark this post as confirmed bug so we can track it's progress in our system

Hi,

Unfortunately I see that the fix is still not available in 3.2.1.6

The expected result would be to show all public and subscribed groups - private and public (order by subscribed, public unscubscribed).
