Two very strange things - this was working before, but now when I go to upload files to discussions -

1. My browser file picker defaults to bmp files. (See image)
2. No matter what file type I pick (pdf, jpg, even bmp) I get "uploaded file time is not supported" (See image)

Same results with Chrome and IE. What is wrong?

Thanks Albertus - Sorry if I am missing something herem but I'm not sure how the thread about different suggestions for uploading bmps (none of which worked) helps, especially since I dont want to upload BMP's. I want to be able to upload pdf's, jpgs and other file types. The problem is that Jomsocial defautls to BMP for dicusssion files (?), and says that the filetype is unsupported for every file type I pick.

Let me know if I missed it or if you have any other suggestions. Thanks.

Hi Pat,

your issue has been fixed. related with your Joomla files restriction list at your content: media manager option.
the value your put there containing white space between coma, should not have white space.

I edited for you, now working fine.
