I went to my acct and to "My Downloads". Under "Domain" I have "No 'www' or 'http://'" in red. I a not sure if that means I am missing that or if I need to add that. I have tried both and the red lettering still does not go away. I am guessing that is why I can't download?
No license identified for this domain. The domain I registered with and the domain I am trying to install the Jomsocial on is 420people.com. Can you please fix this?
Also now I should be able to put other domains in the box below and they should work for installation as well right? As I thought it had said in the sales cover of your website it could be used on multiple websites.
I have fixed up the domain names you have in the installed domains section. You can install our product on as many sites as you wish but you can only get support for one domain during the duration of your current subscription.
Our system does not need any www or http entered
please try now and let me know if you have any further issues
But I am still getting the error (attached below).
Notice where it states "Jomsocial.com is not connected", that is a static unclickable message that does not go away.
I am being informed on another post that I should be able to update from the version I am on with the installer, that if it does not allow me too, it could be a billing related issue.
At this point if I can not get this resolved by tomorrow night or at least get an answer on what to do, I am going to request a refund.
When Jomsocial states "Our dedicated support team is available around the clock from Monday through Friday" it is just something you guys put on this website to fool people into thinking your support is responsive in a timely manner or dedicated in getting problems resolved? What is kinda ironic is that your posts states "Monday through Friday" and the best support I got from this site was during the weekend.
My first "billing" post took nearly a day before someone got back to me. Same time frame on the "installation" post listed above. Which is currently over 11 hours old. The timeliness of the last reply was good, but of course it was just a reply pawning me off to someone else. This problem was first reported 4 days 10 hours ago and instead of finding someone who will take ownership, I just get bounced back between posts. I have gotten faster and better support from free Joomla support forums that are open to the public.
I am about ready to give my review on the Joomla extensions page.
